These terms govern your use of the websites operated by Mivek Group and its companies — Mivek Solutions, Mivek Groceries, Mivek Properties, Mivek Logistics, Mivek Power and Mivek Recoveries — and, together with any specific order, quote or service agreement, your engagement of their products and services.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By visiting a Mivek Group website, submitting an enquiry, placing an order or engaging any Mivek Group company for products or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our websites or services.
2. About Mivek Group
Mivek Group is a group of companies operating under the Mivek name from Meru, Kenya, including Mivek Solutions, Mivek Groceries, Mivek Properties, Mivek Logistics, Mivek Power and Mivek Recoveries. Each company operates its own website and provides its own defined services, within a shared group structure and shared standards.
3. Use of our websites
You agree to use our websites only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, any other person. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our websites, systems or networks.
4. Enquiries, quotes and orders
Submitting an enquiry or quote request does not itself create a binding agreement. A service begins once the relevant Mivek Group company confirms the scope, pricing and schedule with you, whether by email, WhatsApp, a written quote or another agreed method. Specific terms for an order, tenancy, delivery or case may be set out separately and will apply alongside these general terms.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices, availability and delivery or completion timeframes are confirmed at the time of quotation and may change before an order is accepted. Payment terms will be agreed as part of the quote or order confirmation for the relevant service.
6. Intellectual property
The content on our websites, including text, graphics, logos and images, belongs to Mivek Group or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but may not otherwise copy, reproduce or distribute our content without permission.
7. Third-party links and channels
Our websites may link to third-party sites, such as social media platforms or WhatsApp, or make use of them for communication. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites or services.
8. Limitation of liability
We provide our websites and general information on an “as is” basis and make reasonable efforts to keep them accurate and available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mivek Group and its companies are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our websites. This clause does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and does not affect any specific warranties or obligations agreed as part of a confirmed order or service.
9. Mivek Recoveries — additional notice
Services provided by Mivek Recoveries are conducted lawfully and professionally, in line with applicable Kenyan law. Engaging Mivek Recoveries does not guarantee a particular recovery outcome, and any case-specific terms will be agreed separately in writing.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from your use of our websites or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
